Fleas 😭 like omg what a nightmare. Because apparently this move was going too smooth. Honestly I think I caught it super early. Normally my kitties are up to date on their protection but I slacked off with the move and since they’re indoor only, I wasn’t too worried. Pretty sure what happened is that my basement is carpeted (which who does that but anyway, different story…), I have seen a few mice down there but the cats will take care of that in no time. However, what I didn’t account for is that fleas/eggs were likely all in the carpet down there from the mice 🤦🏼♀️ Ughhhhhh. Anyway so today was entirely spent with me stripping all linens from everywhere, all cloths and washing it and vacuuming like mad. I have a bug guy coming out in the morning and yeah I’m going to figure out what wise to do. Here’s 3 probably comical videos of me chatting and giving my cats a bath in the sink and me trying to not get clawed to death in the process. Ok soooo problem 🤔 I took the wallpaper down. The glue was crazy though and the drywall seams were a mess and there were a lot of other imperfections so I decided to just skim coat over it and then move on with priming/painting and such. However, the mud is PEELING. Wtf 😬 is it some reaction with the glue? Please help! Can I prime it to seal it then skim coat to smooth it out? I’ve never had drywall mud peel before. I also normally use a different joint compound but I went with this one this time though I doubt that’s the issue.

So the buyers backed out after the inspection. So dumb. I don’t think they’re ready. They freaked out about old plumbing (I’ve never had a single even minor problem) and foundation cracks that are NOT structural. Anywayyyyy I’m trying to finish my garage now.
