Added 2023-04-03 18:43:05 +0000 UTCThe last few weeks have been so hard with my migraine and I am quieter than normal in the DMs so wanted to give you all an update. I had another 38 botox injections in my head last week but the neurologist agrees that my quality of life is still not acceptable as I have 24/7 symptoms. Outside of the shoots you guys see me do I pretty much spend most days in the dark in my pjs at home. Even when I go on trips I am so grateful to be away but its really hard to enjoy and exhausting. I am starting a new treatment soon which will involve me injecting myself regularly at home with a drug that will block the neurotransmitters in my brain, and even though its not nice I just want it to work as I am really exhausted now and my mental health is on the floor. Its been nearly 600 days of constant migraine and I desperately need a break. The new treatment will mean my migraine meds alone per month will total around £650 ($800) alone at minimum, which is obsurd considering my bladder meds can total the same some months. Unfortunately it would take years to receive the same drug on the NHS and waiting is not an option for me. Anyway, if you see me sending more locked DMs, this is why. I hate to bombard and spam so I try not to but you may see an increase in locked content due to a massive increase in all my medical bills.
