Added 2023-03-29 18:28:27 +0000 UTCI’ve had such a busy yet not busy day. I had a 2 hour therapy session earlier and now I need to get out for a walk 😅 I think that will reset me. I know it’s taboo to share “bad,” things on here but I do anyway because I’m a real person and I like to be authentic even in this space. I’m starting another round of intensive therapy for my PTSD. I’ve done a few rounds of CPT and years of talk therapy and was even inpatient for a few months last year but this will be my first round of PE. I’m really excited and optimistic about it actually! I’m such a logic minded and intellectual human and I often have trouble engaging with the more emotional side of things and I’m hoping this will help me process the trauma in a more somatic way. Anyway, no need to treat me any different or feel bad, I’m just sharing because I’m genuinely excited to keep working on myself and I hope it gives anyone of you who might be struggling some hope or inspiration or a sense of connection ✨
