Added 2022-06-07 17:31:44 +0000 UTCPre-op selfie in my hospital room. My endoscopy went very well. I’m home now and very loopy from the insane amount of anesthesia it takes to put me to sleep. Something about my rare immune diseases makes it a lot harder to sedate me, but boy oh boy do I wake up fucked up. 😂
Biopsies were taken throughout my esophagus, stomach and upper GI tract, fun stuff. My stomach lining is inflamed, and the dr actually had to remove a polyp from my stomach for the first time ever as well; so I’m a little more sore than usual. I’ll be sleeping for a bit but then I’ll be around to finish messaging and post a bit.
