I wanted to branch away from silks / Lyra for a night :) I know it’s not the best but again THIS WAS MY FIRST CLASS SKSKSKSK. Do not comment on my bra, I need to wear less at class and due to being a special kind of boy, I still need to wear one. ~• Growing up I had this obsession with the circus. This underlying itch and crave to just run away and join one. I remember my mother finding it silly and my siblings in my teenage years making fun of me for still believing in that dream and wishing SO badly I could just… fly. That dream meant a lot to me. That dream stuck with me for many moons and never seemed to loosen its tight grip around my heart and I’m glad it never did. My eating disorder kept me from continuing my Aerial classes last year, but due to recovery I began them again this year. :,) If I fuel my body, I can continue doing what I love oh so most.. My therapy is… the art of circus. When I’m flying, nothing else in the world matters. I have no troubles to worry about.. the only thing I need to be focused on is.. well flying. Aerials, Straps, Lyra, Hammock and now Spanish Web are a part of my forever. I’ve found my home within this ever so beautiful community. I’ve met souls I hope to forever stay close to and I’ve found pieces of myself being expressed in ways I could not properly put out there in words. Someday, I’ll have my own place to create in. For now it’s a wee dream but my dreams are seeming to become a reality :)
