I felt my face flush when he asked me and tried to hide it by looking away. I gave him a quick nod and stayed in my seat while everyone else got up to leave. Once everyone was out of the room he went over to the door and locked it, so no one could interrupt me during the exam. It was a very important exam that made up most of my grade. He walked over to my desk with the exam in his hand and handed it to me. My hand grazed his as I reached up to grab it. I felt a rush of excitement move through my body. He smiled and said “good luck” and then walked back to his desk completely unfazed….
