Panty check a bit late today because my day job kept me busy. ππ As usual, more will be in my stories but the girls only made it out for these. Not sure anyone cares, but I figured Iβd tell yβall a bit about my day job. If youβre only here for the girls, you can skip over this β¦ π Iβm a mechanical engineer and got my masters degree in internal combustion engines, but Iβve worked as a rocket propulsion engineer for most of my 27 year career. I typically do analysis of the cryogenic propellant systems for rocket core stages but am now supporting an upper stage development. The first rocket I worked on was the Delta IV which is sadly going to retire soon (maybe that means I should as well? π). I also worked the Space Shuttle (main engines) and supported landings β¦ I was in the control room 21 years ago today for the Columbia disaster (February 1, 2003). I wanted to work on rockets since I was 12 years old. My dad instilled a love of them in me, and despite what you might think β¦ I do not have daddy issues. π Heβs a wonderful man and father and he taught me that I could do anything I put my mind to. β€οΈ
